Free File is the fast, easy, and free way to file your federal income taxes.
This is new from the IRS beginning January 11, 2008.
If your adjusted gross income was $54, 000 or less in 2007, you can use Free File to prepare and e-file your taxes online beginning January 11, 2008 right here at the IRS website.

Free File is also available in Spanish and is so easy you can do it yourself.
Free File will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through our network of partners, but it’s important to remember that you must access Free File through the IRS website.
